The independent bike brand puts comfort over speed and transports a unique feeling of lightness. However, the first contact with a tokyobike is often made digitally. Therefore, Simon and I set out to help expand the German market by translating the same easy and light experience (of riding the bike) to the online store.
tokyobike is simply a way to enjoy a city, as much about the journey as the destination. That's why I also launched a monthly flagship newsletter for German fans featuring inspiring stories, favorite places, and product news.
To continuously bring the brand's story to life on Instagram, I curated lots of visual content and shaped tokyobike's tone and voice through German copywriting. The goal? Reach and inspire new customers daily to jump on a bike and enjoy their cities.
